Deborah is an entrepreneur as a consultant, nurse educator, energy medicine instructor, wellness warrior and healing clinical practitioner within healthcare or community agencies. She worked as a Nurse Specialist in Utilization Management at Alaska Native Medical Center (ANMC) in Anchorage for 5 1/2 years, serving as elected President of the Nursing Staff and providing inpatient clinical integrative medicine consultant services. In the role as an Integrated Concurrent Reviewer at Providence Alaska Medical Center, she performed utilization reviews and coordinated continuing education, facilitated monthly community-wide case management network for over 8 years, taught Diversity classes throughout the Providence Health Care System and recognized as 2001 Mission Spirit Award winner for outstanding performance. Significant roles within mental health nursing were Director of Psychiatric Emergency Team and Director of Education. Other career experiences include long term community care roles, such as Geriatric Nurse Consultant, Coordinator of Care and Nurse Educator. Other professional experiences include as a national Medical Services Consultant included assistance with employee and occupational health care management for promoting wellness measures, safe workplace environments, injured worker advocacy and return to work transition planning.

Melanie Bladow is a management consultant specializing in technology and business transformation strategy. She is passionate about driving change, believes that strategy and people skills will differentiate the technology leaders of the future, and she’s ready to show you how! Her 20 year global career has spanned both IT and Business Leadership, leading teams in the UK, Algeria, Moscow, Mumbai, Tripoli and the US. Melanie has led initiatives for Software Development, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Oilfield Digitization, as well as setting technology and cyber security strategy as CIO for BP’s Global Exploration Division. A highlight of her career was leading the crisis management team keeping communications with Libya online during the Arab Spring. Melanie holds a BA in Politics from Whitman College and a CIO of the Future graduate certificate from Boston University and UC Berkeley. Melanie is now Principal at Tern Consulting and resides in Anchorage, Alaska, where she leverages her global leadership experience to help organizations achieve strategic digital transformation.
