Andrea Trescot MD, DABIPP, FIPP, CIPS Dr. Andrea Trescot was a Lt. Commander in the US Navy. She is a life member of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians and an Examiner for the World Institute of Pain. Dr. Trescot is a Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology with Special Qualifications in Pain Management and Critical Care, a Diplomate of the American Board of Interventional Pain Physicians with a Competency Certification in Controlled Substance Management, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pain Medicine. She is the past president of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP), past fellowship director at the University of Florida and the University of Washington, and the current Chief Medical Officer of Stimwave, a wireless stimulation company. Her published books include Pain- Wise: A Patient’s Guide to Pain Management, and Peripheral Nerve Entrapments - Diagnosis and Clinical Management. She has authored more than 150 peer-reviewed articles and textbook chapters, and she is the current Editor-in-Chief of the journal Pain and Therapy.
